Strategic Plan Monitoring System

The Strategic Plan Monitoring System, which was implemented in order to monitor the strategic goals of our university more effectively, to systematically report the realizations and to support the decision-making processes based on data, has been opened to the use of all relevant units and has started to be used actively. The development process of the system was carried out under the coordination of the Department of Information Technologies; after the needs analysis was completed, the system was structured with a user-friendly interface design and functional modules. In line with the feedback received during the pilot application process, the system was improved and was spread throughout the university by the end of the year.

Within the scope of the system, each academic and administrative unit carries out activity entries in line with the strategic goals they are responsible for, and the annual realization levels of these activities are made reportable. Realization rates, performance indicators and target-based analyses can be monitored instantly through the system; decision support reports are automatically created for managers. Thus, the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of strategic plan applications are carried out from a single center and in a transparent manner.

In addition, the system offers an integrated digital monitoring structure with screens customized according to the authorization levels of the users, past period comparisons and automatic notification mechanisms. With this structure, the Strategic Plan Monitoring System contributes significantly to the quality assurance processes and institutional efficiency of our university. Thanks to the systematic monitoring of institutional goals, both internal audit processes are facilitated and the data infrastructure required for external evaluation mechanisms is strongly supported.
